Our Story

Artist & Founder

Shannon Clarke

Art has become my way of expressing myself, finding peace, and bringing ideas to life. I love how it allows me to experiment, challenge myself, and create something completely unique. There’s nothing more fulfilling than turning a blank canvas into a piece that feels alive with texture and emotion.

Thank you for being part of my artistic journey - I'm so grateful to share my passion with you.

How it all began

People often ask, “Why art?” It’s the complete opposite of my career as an accountant. But looking back, I’ve always loved creating. As a kid, I’d collect art supplies from places like Argos (a catalog store in the UK) and loved anything hands-on, like knitting and textiles in school. I wasn’t great at free drawing, but I excelled in textiles, combining textures and bold colors to create unique pieces.

When it came to career choices, I followed what seemed practical. I was good at math, so I became a qualified accountant like my sister. But I was miserable—stressed, unhappy, and unfulfilled. After some time traveling and living in Australia, I still felt stuck. I needed something more.

Then I discovered textured art. I couldn’t stop seeing it everywhere, and it sparked something inside me. In June 2022, I finally decided to try it myself. My first piece wasn’t great, but creating it made me feel alive, stress-free, and inspired. It gave me purpose and joy, even alongside my accounting job.

Over the next 2.5 years, I dove in—experimenting, failing, succeeding, and constantly challenging myself. I created 30 pieces in 30 days, ran challenges, explored woodworking, and eventually found my style with my cubes collection, which got an amazing response.

To now

I have my own art studio in Perth, where I create daily. Art has transformed my life—it’s therapeutic, fulfilling, and aligns with who I am. I feel alive, happy, and full of ideas every day.

That’s why I’m creating a course. I want you to experience this transformative journey too—unlocking your creative side, finding a healthy release, and discovering the joy of creating something uniquely yours. The course is almost ready, and I’ll be announcing it soon.

When people ask me:

Why Cubes?

Life is built in layers—moments stacked upon moments, experiences shaping who we become. There’s strength in that, just as there’s strength in the cube. Solid, balanced, and unwavering, the cube represents the foundation we stand on, the resilience we build, and the journey we take to shape our own path.

That’s why I return to cubes in my work. They are a symbol of stability in an ever-changing world, a reminder that even when life feels uncertain, we are still grounded. Their structure reflects endurance—the ability to hold steady through challenges while embracing the beauty of growth.

Cubes are not just geometric shapes; they hold meaning. Their sharp edges and defined forms show us that strength isn’t rigid—it’s intentional. Their surfaces catch light differently throughout the day, revealing new dimensions, just as we uncover new depths within ourselves over time.

Bringing cubes into your home is more than an artistic choice—it’s an affirmation of resilience, balance, and transformation. They serve as a quiet but powerful statement: that strength is built over time, that stability is beautiful, and that every layer of our journey matters.

Because art isn’t just something you see—it’s something you connect with. And cubes, in all their depth and definition, remind us that our stories are strong, structured, and ever-evolving.
